Departure day!

Richard and I have finally packed our 6 cases and air freight ready to fly to Hong Kong today. Very excited and very much looking forward to exploring Asia. It has been sad to say goodbye to our boat Quintessence who is now for sale. Visit http://www.richardandsarahatsea.blogspot.com/ for our Caribbean sailing adventure over the past year). She was a wonderful home to us and we will miss her. Once our stint in Hong Kong is over, we will be getting another boat and hopefully sailing off into the sunset once again.

It has been so great to see all our friends and family over the past month or so and catch up with a years worth of news in detail. We will be coming back a few times during the year, so we can keep in touch. Also, we hope friends and family will take advantage of the relatively cheap fares and come and see us....

The letter "A" is where we are staying for the first month or so, until we find a longer term place.

We will be celebrating Chinese New Year soon, so hope you all have a wonderful 2009 and STAY IN TOUCH!

Lots of love
Sarah and Richard

Absolutely fabulous Sarah, such an interesting read. Have you thought of writing a book of your stay out there because the way you write is lovely and make the reader believe they are there and want to read more..

I have one complaint, how dare you say Koshka is fat, it is so untrue, she is just big boned!! And built for lots of cuddling.
Lots of love
